Chief Minister K.Rosaiah directed the officials of Finance department to release the State’s Backlog share of Rs.192.26 (till 2008-09) crore under Rajiv Vidya Mission (SSA) as well as the state’s share of Rd.24.74 crore towards the new scheme ‘Sakshara Bharathi”, immediately. He also directed them to give top priority to all pending financial clearances especially those related to Central Government Schemes so that the activities taken up under various schemes should not suffer for want of funds.
The Chief Minister was reviewing the issues mostly of financial pertaining to the School Education and Intermediate Education with the Ministers, Primary Education & SSA, Mr.Mohd. Ahmadulla Syed and School Education, Mr.M.Varaprasad and senior officials concerned here today.
The Chief Minister has directed the officials to expedite the filling up of 1100 vacant posts of Junior Lecturers and 146 Librarian posts which was already posted to APPSC for recruitment and notification pending. He also directed to take action for filling up of sanctioned posts another 2,000 Junior Lecturers (1,000 for general stream and 1,000 for vocational stream), immediately.
Similarly, the Chief Minister directed the officials to take legal opinion on the present Supreme Court Status pertaining to the SGT posts for taking further action in the matter. He also enquired about the 1154 School Asst. posts and directed to expedite the process.
The Chief Minister directed the financial officials to make all the releases pertaining to the pending bills of Mid Day Meal Scheme in the State besides releasing amounts required for repairs of junior colleges as well as dues of contract lecturers’ salaries.
